RISE Awarded FNBO Impact Grant Supporting Workforce DeVelopment Programming

FNBO Supports Workforce Development at RISE

RISE is delighted to be awarded a $30,000 Impact Grant from FNBO to support workforce development programming focused on employment accessibility for formerly incarcerated individuals. This supports the development of career pathways and collaborative pre-employment training in soft skills, conflict resolution, career planning, and organizational culture.

Partnership and support from FNBO is paramount to the success of people returning to the community post-incarceration. Thank you for investing in second chances and increasing employment opportunities!

FNBO is proud to be the great big small bank, helping our customers, employees, and our communities do more of what matters most. We’re big enough to make a difference yet small enough to know who we’re impacting. We believe our greatest impact to the long-term financial well-being of individuals and our communities can be made by delivering solutions that address our four community goals. We are further committed to intentionally and proactively creating pathways to financial well-being for historically underrepresented populations, regardless of but not limited to their age, race, color, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or military status.

Solution Based

FNBO’s Impact Grants are solution based in five functional areas of support:

Supporting community partners who deliver impactful solutions by investing donations, community sponsorships, grants, impact investments, and employee volunteer hours. They partner with and empower nonprofit organizations that break down barriers to economic and social opportunities for historically underrepresented populations.

Financing the loans and investments that are the economic engine behind the projects, people, and businesses that make our communities successful. FNBO tools can help individuals improve their financial future, especially those historically underserved by the financial system.

Delivering a desired employee experience by fostering a culture of belonging and inclusion so that every employee is valued and has the opportunity and the ability to make an impact. FNBO strives to reflect the diversity of the communities they serve in the makeup of our workforce.

Buying from small businesses and businesses owned by historically underrepresented populations in order to support FNBO operations while simultaneously helping these businesses grow and create jobs.

Striving to be resilient and have a net-positive impact on the environment.
